I am on a Viking ocean cruise that leaves out of the Fusina port. How do I get all the way to the ship ( with luggage) from the Rialto Hotel in Venice?

Contact Viking. They typically have transfers/shuttles from the Venice cruise port (Stazione Marittima) to Fusina.

But what is supposed to happen for all cruises from Fusina is that you check in at the old Venice Cruise Terminal and are then bussed to the ship in Fusina- https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/3023226-accessing-venice-from-fusina/
Have you not been given joining instructions by Viking?
If you are even allowed to go to Fusina independently (which seems to be very doubtful) the only sensible way is a taxi from Venice Mestre railway station- one stop from Venice Santa Lucia terminus station.

I know about the intermediate local stop Venezia Porto Marghera having stepped down and seen my mistake and quickly stepped back up - whew!
