Hi everyone, I need help as soon as you can give it as we will heading to Florence this am and need to park our car and walk into the town Our bus or train plans fell thru .We have a tour of an Olive grove just outside of Florence at 3 so we wont have time to take a train go back and get the car to drive into hillside to grove...
We need to drive and I am dreading it...but I really want to go to Florence and also see the grove?
we are in Sovicille away from any transportaion anyway.
I am sure some one here will give me good advice as to where outside the city to park that will not put stress on this day. so far our trip has been wonderful .

I've not driven in Florence, but have read about avoiding the dreaded ZTL( limited traffic zone)in the city center. Whatever you do, DON'T drive into the city center!
Hopefully Roberto (da Firenze), or someone else who has parked in Florence, will come to your rescue.
In the meantime, here is a thread about parking in Florence from last year with good information.
