Getting EU Green Pass in Italy, CDC V-Safe?

I've been seeing reports of vaccinated US travelers getting the EU "Green Pass" in Germany by presenting their CDC vaccination card at a pharmacy. Apparently France has now made this an official process as well, and US residents can get the pass in France at "willing" pharmacies.

Any reports of a similar process in Italy, or any hints it may be in the offing?

Editing: Poking around looking at the latest requirements for Italy and getting the Green Pass, I stumbled upon this page on EasyMilano: https://easymilano.com/how-to-get-the-green-pass-for-travel/

Which, in turn, refers to the US CDC V-Safe app: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/register-for-v-safe.html

I don't recall ever seeing any reference to the CDC V-Safe app here or anywhere else (Reddit, etc.).

I agree with tdw. I signed up for V-Safe after my first vax dose as I was interested in contributing to data regarding vaccine reactions or the lack of them. I received questionnaires for a week or so after each dose and then maybe a month out from each dose asking about side effects. They also sent me a reminder for the 2nd dose.

The website says:

""V-safe is not an official record that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19. You should receive a Covid-19 vaccination card that tells you what Covid-19 vaccine you received, the date you received it and where you received it. The vaccination card is the official record that you were fully vaccinated, but it does not qualify as a vaccine passport."

Apparently France has now made this an official process as well

This is not true

Yes, some people have had success, but in no way has the French government ever said this is the way to go .

The CDC -V safe was part of the info given to me when I got my first vaccine. I signed up and was surprised to hear from them a few weeks ago. I thought I was done with the checks. My last vaccine was the end of April. This is definitely not something that was designed for travel.

Yes, Paul succeeded in getting it (I also know others who have.)

It has NOT, however, “an official process” as you allege, and in fact health authorities have told pharmacists to stop doing this for Americans.

Some of the French leadership has said they are working on this. It would be wonderful if they could announce a solution soon.
