Anyone familiar with the Firenze card pass for 85e? Has 62 places to visit, all priority, with a few required reservations, such as Academia, Uffizi, Brancacci. Unfortunately, I already purchased the Academia (16e) on its own which is included here. Was looking at the Passe Partout (5 days) for $39 covering the Uffizi, Pitti, Boboli.
ty,
Yes, the card has been around for years.
It's only worth it if (a) you have a full 72 uninterrupted hours in which to use it and (b) you are interested in enough of what it covers to make the purchase worthwhile. How long will you be in Florence?
Be cautious if one of your days is a Monday, when the state museums are closed, or a free first Sunday of the month when the most-visited of the state museums are mobbed. As well, and as mentioned in one of your previous threads, the Firenzecard doesn't cover anything at the duomo: it has its own ticketing site.

I might say it's only a bargain if you have enough time in Florence to make use of the Firenzecard free 48-hour restart but most folks aren't staying in the city that long. I definitely wouldn't purchase it AND the Passepartout. If you purchase that latter pass, you also have to choose a designed entry time for the Uffizi at the time you make the purchase.
Priority entry really isn't a big deal for anything but the few most-visited attractions: there is unlikely to be lengthy queues at any of them.
TY Kathy, I will have 5 full days, plus 1/2 on arrival day. I already booked the Academia for the first day before I ran across this pass. It happens...lol.
Ah, good to know!
If you're not planning any day trips, then the 72-hour pass + 48 hr. free restart might be worth the purchase, even tho you've already reserved tickets for the Accademia. It might be more for the convenience than cost? You'd have to add up prices of individual tickets to the attractions the Firenzecard covers and that you are interested in visiting to see if you can break even or better on it. Make sense? Don't forget to add the price of your duomo passes on top.
We had about the same amount of time in the city as you will, didn't take any day trips, didn't run out of things to see, and missed a few that are on the list for next time! It's a great city if you're into art, architecture and history. :O)
We bought them a few years ago and definitely got our money’s worth. We visited some interesting places that were not in our original plans because we had it-Medici-Ricardi Palace and Medici Chapel.
One other thing to think about: Museums like the Accademia and Ufizzi are booked up MONTHS in advance. I would verify whether or not the Firenze Card allows you entry when general ticket sales are booked.
TY PaulM...We got lucky with reservations @ Academia and the Uffizi. The Brancacci had a separate reservation directly with the chapel. We also got lucky with that and with a guided tour to boot for a mere 5E extra. Def sounds worthwhile. We jut have to show the Firenze card and get tickets then.
