My AirBnB host in Manarola said she thought that this train runs regardless of the Trenitalia national strikes.
Unfortunately I can't trust her as if she's wrong then I'm stuck with no backup plan.
Does anyone have more details? Having a hard time finding exactly who I would contact to find out. I thought I had looked before and all, or most, CT trains were state run (Trenitalia).

I decided I'm not taking any chances on anything, have a rental from May 19-21 (Florence->CT->Como). Wasted a lot of time, and now money, worrying about this but feel the car gives me some options I wouldn't have had before.
