We have back to back tours (Best of South Italy and Sicily) coming up in October. I constantly read the Travel Forum for any kind of information RS tour members have to offer. We have been on 2 RS tours pre COVID. My question is to those of you who were unfortunate enough to test positive while on the tour or the day before flying home. How did you go about finding a place to isolate until you could fly home? Are there special hotels who will take you? Can’t imagine you walk into a hotel and say you need a room for 10 days because you have COVID? Also who monitors you to make sure you stay in your room? Trying to think positive about our tours but also like to be prepared with knowledge if the dreaded positive reading shows up.
