I just read that there are lockdowns in China, as the Omicron and a sub Omicron varient are rampant. Has anyone heard about tightening restrictions in Italy or France? Also, are they still wearing masks?

No changes in Italy
When you look at actual numbers - percentage/population China is not really that bad
They are really into lockdowns though and don’t have anywhere near vax rates Italy and France do

And the Chinese don't have vaccines that are particularly effective against Omicron.
