Can anyone please help me understand what the current Covid-19 vaccine restrictions for traveling to Italy are?
It seems that there’s an option not to be vaccinated as long as you show proof of negative covid testing but I’d like to confirm.
Thanks!

Vaccination proof, negative test or letter of recovery
All travelers must show a negative test to return to US, no matter what your vax status is. That's the thing you need to worry about. Scroll thru this forum and the COVID forum and you'll see many are testing positive and getting stuck in isolation for 10 days before being allowed to board flights home. (We just returned and it was the only thing we stressed about, luckily we tested negative but we are double vaxxed, double boosted and are super vigilant, we still wear masks).
If you are not vaxxed the chances of getting sick while in Italy are drastically increased.
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your answer!!
I am double vaxxed and already got Covid in December but I am planning to travel with my cousin who got Covid last year and is not vaccinated, so I am concerned about her.
Thanks again!!
