Colosseum full experience timed entry

I plan on buying a Full Experience ticket to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, & Palatine Hill. I know I must select a reserved time for the Colosseum, but does that mean I have to begin my ticket at the Colosseum, or can I begin at the Forum or Palatine Hill first, then go to the Colosseum if my entry time is latter in the day? I've searched the coopculture website, but it does not specify that you must activate the ticket at the Colosseum first, before being allowed entry to the other sites.

Karen, I'm not sure it's still the case but a different Karen was told by coopculture 2 years ago that it was OK to visit the Forum and Palatine before their timed-entry slot for the Colosseum:

Note that she was picking up her tickets THERE, which is no longer possible; you'll be using a digital PDF so that is a change since COVID onset. For info from the horse's mouth, you might email them your question using the form at the bottom of this page?

One word of warning? Good luck landing a coopculture Full Experience ticket (one that includes the Underground, right?). Those are THE hottest tickets in Rome during high season, and sell out at warp speed the minute they become available. I know there's a big FOMO factor associated with the underground but honestly, many, many of us "did" the Colosseum in the years before it was accessible and were fine just peering down into visible sections from above. Let's just say that I don't personally think it's a HUGE disappointment if you can't get tickets? There are 3rd party companies who offer tours which include it, albeit for a higher price, that you could try if you MUST get into it but THEY have to land tickets as well.

What I do recommend if possible are any of the better 3rd-party tours which offer not just the Colosseum/underground but curated guidance of the Palatine and Forum as well. The latter 2 sites are much more complex and benefit from visiting with a knowledgeable guide. They run between 3-4 hours, and foiks who've done them can make recommendations for bookings if interested.

A limited amount of Coopculture tickets can also suddenly become available again if some sales fall through so keep a sharp eye on the site.
