We have only 2 days in Cinque Terre. We would like to spend both nights in the same town and hotel. Is Monterosso a good choice to stay. I heard they have nice beaches, and we would like a little beach time.

Monterosso has the best beaches of the 5 towns. It’s also the biggest town, so it’s the choice of many others for staying.
We were in the Cinque Terre last October, and stayed at its other end, in Riomaggiore, where the beaches are people sitting on rocks. Rick Steve’s’ favorite town, Vernazza, was absolutely packed with people. Riomaggiore could have a little more space for you.

If you're looking for a beach then Monterosso is the town you want. The others don't have beaches.
