I am having trouble finding a schedule from Florence to Montepulciano. I know I can go to Siena and then take another bus to Montepulciano but would prefer a direct bus. All Sita sites seem to be in Italian but I cannot find the right link. Help is appreciated.
You are not alone. There does not appear to be a direct bus. Where did you get information that there was a direct bus?
You might contact Roberto da Firenze for clarification

No direct buses. Try train to Chiusi/Chianciano terme, then Tiemme bus (www.tiemmespa.it).
Bus timetables are difficult to read as they have a lot of exceptions (buses running or not on some days only) - they are difficult also to people fluent in Italian.
Seconding what Lachera said. I have a devil of a time figuring bus schedules online, and I read Italian. Somehow it's easier when I am standing in front of it.
Take the train to Chiusi then the bus from there like lachera suggested.
Sandy,
I have found Google Maps to be pretty accurate. You might want to give it a try...
