Hey Everyone!
I am flying into Rome and heading directly down to Sorrento.
I understand I will need to take the train to Roma Termini and then the train down to Naples where I transfer to a bus to Sorrento. I expect to do the reverse when I come back k to Rome.
Would I be better off purchasing a rail or bus pass? Is it cheaper to buy individually? Where do I buy tickets?
I have the train line and Trenitalia apps installed.

There is also the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento from the lower level of Napoli Centrale station. It is totally separate from Trenitalia, so you will have to buy a ticket there. There is no combined offer or "pass" that I am aware of.
Buy the ticket to Naples at the airport. Return at Napoli Centrale. Or with the Trenitalia app.
