Best way to get from Naples train station to Praiano?

First trip to Italy, and we already lost before we even get there! Ought oh.
We will be traveling from Sienna to Praiano.
Thinking of going by hi-speed train from Siena to Naples.
From Naples we will need an efficient and fairly economical means to get
to Praiano-bus, train, car service, etc.?

From what I have seen, a car service is the fasted and most convenient means.
This looks to also be a more expensive way to travel.

Is there a good car service that offers reasonable rates?

Hoping you may share any and all ideas!

Thanks.

It depends on what your timeline is. From Naples you could take the commuter line, Circumvesuvianna, to Sorrento and cab or a SITA bus from there. Another would be a taxi from the Naples train station to the port and ferry to Pralano. That would be the most relaxing and scenic way to go.

You can take the high speed train from Siena right into Salerno, then a Ferry from there to Positano. Then catch the local Mobility Coast Amalfi bus into Praiano, or the Sita bus. You can also take the Sita bus from Salerno to Amalfi, (switch buses) and then from Amalfi to Praiano. Just a note that there is no Ferry dock in Praiano. You can also catch a water taxi from Positano to Praiano. I have read in previous posts that it is around 30 Euros.

In May 2017 we asked our host in Praiano about how to get there from Naples airport. She arranged a taxi to pick us up. €160 for the four of us and it took about 2 hours. He was charming and we enjoyed learning about the areas we drove through. We thought it was good value for money especially since we were tired from the long plane rides from Seattle. He dropped us very close to our destination. One thing to keep in mind if you do get a boat of some kind to Praiano is that it's a steep walk up from the harbor. So understand where your "home" is in relation to the harbor since you'll have your luggage to contend with. Have a great trip!
