We (2 adults) need to hire an auto transfer from Naples train station to
our airbnb apartment in Praiano.
So far the quotes have been 130 euros.
Is there a good, reliable service for a lower cost?

At a very low cost would be using the public transport.
just a couple of euro on the Circumvesuviana train, or a couple more on the less crowded more touristy Campania Express, both trains from a lower level station below the main Naples station to the last stop in Sorrento, then a SITA bus around onto the Amalfi coast to Praiano.
Car and driver not equal to cheap.
Just found the auto transfer sevice, gettransfer that gave us a quote of $94-115. (us dollars) depending on the style/class of auto.
Thinking they are a service similar to Uber here in the US?
Does anyone have any feedback on this service?
Since you asked the same question yesterday and I responded to it, what more information do you need? Car transfers will be expensive because of time and distance. And you are paying for the driver to come get you, drive you there, and return. And be very careful of cheap simply because there is a tendency to get what you pay for. A small, single driver operators will not have a back up if there is a problem with their vehicle. And with a driver you need a plan B should something happen.
This is an extremely reasonable fee for what you are asking about. Four years ago, we paid 95 Euros for a one-way transfer from our hotel in Sorrento to the Naples rail station. That is, by far, a much shorter trip than the one you are asking about. I would warn you that traffic and accidents and busses backing up to get around curves on the mountain road (especially in high season) are not under the driver's control. So you may miss a non-exchangeable train ticket unless you allow enough time on your return trip.
Have you looked at the route on Google Maps, which usually underestimates travel times? We used the surface transport company recommended by our hotel, the Ambassciatori, and put it on our bill. I figured they had an incentive to refer me to a satisfactory company. How about your AirBnB dude?
Previous post has the idea I would suggest, ask you host/landlord for a suggestion.
You are likely not the 1st person to do the trip, so they should have a ready answer.
A euro per km sounds about right. As noted earlier the driver has to drive rt to take you one way.
130€ sounds reasonable. We paid 120€ Sorrento to Naples airport.
I read recently that there is no tipping in Italy. Is it okay/proper to not tip the transfer driver?
I would not say there is no tipping but the tipping expectation is much lower. Depending on what the driver does for you, I might consider something in the range of 8 to 10%.

Reviews are mixed. When it works everyone is very happy. And when it doesn't, it is a problem. Appear to be a number of unexpected "No Shows."
