we will be in Naples for just two nights, arriving at Naples Centrale Train Statioin and leaving from Airport.
We are seniors who love to walk but care about safety. Looking for recommendations for areas or Boutique Hotels.

A long, long time ago, I stayed at the "Attico Partenopeo" B&B. The location was absolutely perfect, steps away from via Toledo, piazza Plebiscito, and one of the Vomero funiculars. Recent reviews are still excellent.
It is also close to the Municipio metro station (which did not exist when I visited!), so convenient to reach from the train station.
It was much better than my first stay, close to the train station.

We stayed near the waterfront in the lovely Chiaia district . Enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Alabardieri and felt safe walking about the area even after dark..We also took long walks on the Lungonare with views of Vesuvius in the background.

Where did you decide to stay, I am doing the same thing but only there one night. Please let me know what area you chose, we want affordable but of course safe, clean, etc. We love to walk but is last day of trip so will be tired. want to explore the city for 1/2 the day and then head to airport at 4am for flight back. Need close to main sites to see in one day. arriving by train, departing next am at 6am flight.
