I would appreciate suggestions for a Rick Steve's-esq hotel for an overnight in Naples/Napoli. We are a group of 4 that following our tour end in Rome plan a full day in Napoli prior to our return to the U.S. I appreciate any suggestions that are fairly central and in a safer neighborhood. Have stayed for several days at Hotel Piazza Bellini, great location, easy walking to Archeological Museum, waterfront and everything that is worth seeing. Price includes a great breakfast to start your day and the hotel is in a great location with restaurants and bars a very safe.

I second (third?) the Hotel Piazza Bellini. I stayed as a single female and found it to be perfectly safe. I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to see. The staff was helpful and it was clean and comfortable. Enjoy your time in Naples!
