The Roman Guy, the Tour Guy, Through Eternity
Interested in booking a tour of the Vatican Museum but are unable to find tickets through their direct site. Has anyone used these companies successfully to obtain tickets or tour this site. Also is it possible to purchase tickets at the Vatican for same day or future dates. I will be there in September.

The Roman Guy (TRG) and The Tour Guy (TTG) is the same company.
All three of those companies you mentioned are tour operators, they're not ticket re-sellers or, brokers.
I just went onto their website and had no problem securing a tour reservation, date and time. If the date isn't listed, then there's no more availability for that tour.
I've had friends use TTG, they enjoyed their time with them. I've booked with Walks of Italy and was pleased with our guide and felt it was well worth it.

We used Through Eternity for a tour of the Vatican Museums several years ago and enjoyed it. We've also used them for tours in Florence and Venice, most recently in May for a night time tour of Basilica di San Marco in Venice. Our guides have always been very knowledgeable and I would recommend them.

In 2019 we had a great experience with Through Eternity (Vatican Tour) and a negative experience with Roman Guy (Colosseum Night Tour). My reviews are posted on the Forum:

I've used Through Eternity 3 times over the years including a Vatican tour, and it's the best tour company I've used anywhere. This was a few years ago now but our guide did an amazing job of giving us stories behind the art.
