Please recommend day trips from Sorrento. We have 6 full days. Then to Rome. Definitely Capri, Amalfi and Pompeii. Please recommend everything to see and do jn those placed as well as other locations. Also transport recommendations from Sorrento to each place. Thank you in advance.

This is a weekly topic, so there's a wealth of info already here on the Forum. I'd suggest you read the posted Trip Reports, review the last year's posts under the Italy section, and secure the RS Guide book. We have no idea your interests, size of your group, age, budget , or travel style. We can't " recommend everything to see and do" - that's what guide books attempt. And, you may not share our interests. Please do some research then come back with more specific questions, and the Forum can be more useful.

With 6 days and 3 planned day trips so far I would only add 1 more…maybe
Naples and the Archeological Museum
Capri and AC will both be full long days
Pompeii needs several hours and can be exhausting.
What time if year is this? Who is we?
Leave some time to enjoy Sorrento itself
So many good restaurants, fun wandering and window shopping, great views, lovely spots to sit and relax and eat gelato.
If the lemon grove in town is open be sure to visit.
