Looking for a place comparable to Santa Lucia Hotel, close to airport shuttle, it is booked on my requested dates. Wanting some time to overcome jet lag before hiking in Dolomite's. Tutto Grazie

I've stayed at the Continental, about 100 meters from the station. On the Grand Canal and the Lista de Spagna. Could get pricey depending on the time of year. I'm not familiar to the Santa Lucia.

Thanks, however that is light years away from my price range. Has to be under 100 euros

There is really no need to stay close to Santa Lucia Station. If budget matters, and you want to be IN Venice, you will have to make a compromise. You can get to the train station from anywhere on the vaporetto in 40 minutes. Another alternative is to fire up booking.com and see what is available at what price.
