We have an early morning flight out of Naples to head to USA. Looking for recommendations for hotels near the airport. I am reading some of these hotels are in "seedy" areas and people didn't feel safe. Suggestions, please. Thank you.

It has been said many, many times on this forum that it's not worth staying near the airport because it's so close to the city center. You won't have a problem getting to your flight, even early. So do yourself a favor and stay in the city center of Naples and enjoy your last night there.

We stayed last year in area of "egg castle" in Naples the night before our flight out of Naples. There are a number of hotels, lots of restaurants, and beautiful views of the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our last night in Italy. Much preferable to any airport hotel I have ever stayed in. We preordered a taxi at the front desk and were at airport in plenty of time for our 7 am flight.

We stayed at the Stelle Hotel
the Businet after a plane was cancelled out
of Rome and we switched to Naples for flight to Paris.
You walk out of the central train station and its right there with
beautiful rooms, nice little restaurant & very reasonable.
They'll call a cab for you and you'll be at the airport in 15
minutes. The neighborhood not so great but this hotel
was a real find.
