Trinity City Hotel Dublin

Has anyone stayed here? We’re looking for a city center hotel, but quiet.

Not a hotel but very central: have you considered staying at Trinity College itself, if your stay is during their vacation? I had a very comfortable quiet room there, and ate breakfast at the cafeteria, although there are limited kitchen facilities for each set of rooms.

We stayed there 2 years ago. The most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Service wasn't great. Breakfast was very good. Great location.

We have stayed at Trinity City Hotel in Dublin: 12 days in late Aug-Sept 2023, 4 days before/after Christmas 2023, 5 days in late April 2024 and headed there again in Oct. We have seen several group tours and mini conference attendees but there is enough space for frequent adult travelers like ourselves to mix or not mix. This is the best hotel once you know which are the preferred rooms and the staff are excellent. It is 1 block from Trinity College Dublin and very safe as it is next to the Fire station and 1 block from the Police Station. Our child is a graduate student at TCD and lives nearby so this hotel meets all our criteria since we can walk anywhere for groceries, restaurants, church, pubs, museums, etc. While there is a direct bus to the airport across from the hotel's entrance, we always opt for Gerry M. as our driver per hotel arrangement.
