The Whins in Dunfanaghy, County Donegal, Ireland

We took Rick's advice and stayed at the Whins in Dunfanaghy as noted in the subject line. It's somewhat ordinary but pleasant looking on the exterior but the interior is very attractive and well-planned, and very very clean and tidy. It is also the home of Barbara and John, and they were wonderful and kind hosts. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. When we arrived, there was a fire blazing and hot coffee/tea and some biscuits in the common area. They lent us umbrellas for a walk in the rain to the local restaurants 5 mins up the road where we had our choice of a few spots for food and or drink. Our room was beautiful (double bed, en suite) and bright, comfortable bed. We had everything we needed and they were attentive and helpful hosts and not at all bothersome. We would highly recommend this B and B. It's an excellent location if you want to do some hill or beach hikes and the landscape is beautiful. We had a problem with the wifi, but that was the least of our concerns. It was very, very nice and highly recommended. Georgia and Rick from California
