On a “sister trip to Ireland in late January, we were nervous about driving and instead of going to Dublin city center right out of the airport, we drove 15 mins north to Malahide Castle This turned out to be a delightful first stop and gave us a beautiful first memory and history lesson. There is plenty to do and see. Take the tour, eat at the cafe, or just get tea at the shop. The grounds are gorgeous. 🍀

Thanks for the info. My daughter’s friend is looking to get married in Ireland and wanted a place close to Dublin airport. She wants to make it easy for all her US friends and family. Groom is from Cork. I sent her the link. Keeping my fingers crossed cause we are invited too.
