Lodging in the Republic of Ireland

My husband and I will be visiting the Republic of Ireland beginning in Dublin and traveling west by car.
Dublin, Kilkenny, Dingle Peninsula, Galway, Mayo, Dublin.
We're interested in lodging, cottages, B&Bs. Thanks in advance!

Mena House B&B in Kilkenny was perfect for us. It’s a lovely home with beautiful furnishings. We had a top floor room overlooking the garden with a modern bathroom. As i recall, many choices for breakfast and the owner was very helpful. There were two pubs within a block.

Just returned from a Rick Steves Ireland Tour this week. The Trinity City Hotel in Dublin was good all around. Centrally located to the College and museums. The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis was good. Very cozy, good food and adjacent to excellent pub. In Dingle, the tour was split between the Clomara B&B and Millhouse. Side by side. We stayed in Clomara. Room was smaller but very clean and adequate for two. Think waterfront estate like settings. Stunning views. 10 minute walk to town along the bay. In Kilkenny, the Langton House Hotel was disappointing. Bathroom was not up to standard functionally or cleanliness. It's also a busy wedding venue. In order to reach the Garden Suites one must pass thru the parties/bars. On way to breakfast pass back through the aftermath. Not recommended. Have a great time in Ireland.
