Hotel or Bed and Breakfast or other lodging recommendations near St. Stephen's Green in Dublin

We stayed at Bushwell Hotel in Dublin, a block from St. Stephen's Green. It was very charming and the staff were awesome, if I ever head back to Ireland I will stay there.

I can recommend the Davenport.

Unlike a previous poster, I had a horrible stay at Buswell's. It was one of the dirtiest rooms I ever stayed in. Even the manager was shocked at how bad it was.

Another recommendation for Bushwell.

I liked Buswell's Hotel on Molesworth St, across from the Natoinal Museum and a block north of St. Stepehns' Green. This may be the hotel the other posters are referring to.

We stayed at Stauntons on the Green several years ago and liked it. Small restaurant with good food, including a nice full Irish breakfast. It's on the south side of St. Stephen's Green.

We also stayed at Buswells this past June and really liked it. If I ever go back to Dublin, I’d stay there again.

Thank you to Kathy H. Did a search on Dublin lodging as I was having trouble finding a place on our travel date that would accept a single night’s lodging. We are booked at Staunton’s. I love St Stephen’s and I will be in walking distance to my favorite pub, Toner’s. Thank you for the recommendation!
