In March we are spending 4 days in Galway as part of a three city tour of the country trying to decide which city to move to in Ireland as we retire and leave the US. Looking at hotels in Galway, what has been people’s experience at the Galmont, House, G Hotel, or Park House? We would lean toward the hotels maybe not right in the middle of the action but a short walk away. Granted, we will be there during St Patrick’s Day. Really looking forward to our Ireland fact finding mission (Dublin, Cork, Galway). I did check the search engine for each hotel, so got some comments already. Already booked for Cork and Dublin. Anything to add from recent trips?

We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel last month and it was great. Very central, clean, nice staff. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the House Hotel in early October and liked it. Friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast, convenient location, quiet. The room was small but that's par for the course.
