Dublin Hotels with Laundry Service

Does anyone know of any Dublin Hotels with laundry service? Maybe one that will pick up your laundry and drop it off on the same day?

All except the most budget hotels will probably offer some type of laundry service. You drop off your clothes at the front desk and it gets returned there.

The laundry bag and form to fill out should be in the room.

Not cheap. The hotel gets a piece of the action.

First find a hotel you like and then contact them regarding laundry service. Some hotels, like the Hilton Garden Inn, have a self service laundry room. (I've used it.)

We stayed at a very nice but by no means 5-star hotel in Killarney last spring. They told us they would happily do our laundry and provided us with a price list. They charged by the item. A pair of jeans cost €10.50 to wash. €7.50 per t shirt. €4.00 per pair of underwear. I know these figures because we actually took a photo of the price list…before gathering up our stuff and walking 20 minutes to the nearest self service launderette, where we washed and dried two loads of clothes and grabbed a snack at the convenience store next door for less than what it would have cost us to have the hotel launder one pair of jeans and one pair of underwear. We took advantage of our down time at the laundromat to have a phone conversation with our son back in the US.

Wow! That's expensive. I'll be sure to ask how much before I hand my clothes over or we'll be looking for a laundrymat!

StayCity Aparthotels have washers and dryers in their apartments. There are seven StayCity Aparthotels in great locations in central Dublin. I’ve stayed at the Tivoli location several times while in Dublin.

I do sometimes use a laundry service to save time for more enjoyable pursuits. However, I will add to your previous responses by saying when I go to a laundrette in a foreign country it is usually an enjoyable experience. My most recent was in Sarlat, France. I got there early, only the owner was there. He spoke a little English and explained how everything worked and he said he "LOVE Rick Steves tour people because they were so polite."
