We stayed at a wonderful country place with 2 ensuites, a sun lounge, and kitchenette. Drove day trips to Killarney, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher, and Lough Gur (must see). Hosts Frank and Maureen were warm and very accommodating, offering us rides to town. Their friend John drives a local taxi for after a night in the village pub. This location makes a great base for exploring the southwest of Ireland and embodies Rick Steves' philosophy of 'through the back door'.
