Antrim Coast accommodations

We are spending one night on the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. It will be a Friday night. Can anyone recommend accommodations? We probably would not stay in Portrush because it seems to be sort of busy. We'd love a view of the Ocean ( but who wouldn't). Just hoping for a small quaint place for two hopeless romantics!

We'll arrive Mid afternoon on Friday and have most of the day to explore Saturday. We plan to see the Giants causeway, Bushmills, and Carrick-a-Rede Bridge.

Thanks!
Melany

I have a great recommendation for you! The Bayview Hotel in Port Ballintrae. One of my favorite hotels! Get a view room over the harbor. We walked to the Giants Causeway along the headlands from the hotel and it was a lovely walk. Close to Bushmills, Port Rush, Dunluce Castle as well, but with less hub-bun.

Hello!
Thank you, James, for your input about lovely Castlerock! We do plan to enjoy a visit there while on our way a little further east. We are excited to see beautiful Downhill Demesne and the M temple there and the gorgeous views! Hope to grab a coffee too!
We decided to go with Carol's suggestion for lodging - the Bayview hotel! We'll have to try some of Bushmills offerings at a Pub as the distillery is not giving tours until June.

We are eating dinner at Bayview Hotel's restaurant (unless strongly advised otherwise) but will have an opportunity to try another place for lunch if anyone has suggestions.

I am hoping for a cream tea at The red door tea room at Ballitoy Harbour.

Thanks again! Peace to you, Melany
