My little advice to those tourists who purchase Acropolis tickets but do not receive QR coded tickets to their email.
Problem:
My CC was charged, but I didn't receive any email with tickets attached even though I made sure to type the same email in the optional field as well. You can read details in my comment here if you want: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/greece/acropolis-entry-tickets
My solution... One of the two or a combination of both helped me:
1) I emailed them at [email protected] that I found on their FB page and also included a snip of my purchase proof.
2) I also clicked on the "Contact Us" button on their FB page which lead to opening a support ticket (select "Archaeological Site and Museum" under Help Topic and then "Ticket problems" under Choose the category of your request).
So, I contacted them around 7 am Greece time on Fri (almost midnight in the US ET zone) and they responded me a little an hour later (or after waking up in the US, I had my tickets :-)). Talk about speed!!! Try contacting a ticket office at a major museum or hotel by email in the USA, lol. Not sure how it will be for me in Greece and I hope I will not need to contact anyone with my issues while traveling there but Greeks have been quite responsive to me :-).
So, I would say do both steps just in case. After further comparison between the email response and checking the status of my support ticket, I see that an email was automatically generated after they responded and attached my tickets in the support ticket.
