Today, I attempted to purchase two tickets for entry to the Acropolis from hhticket.gr and was charged, but did not receive any tickets. Has anyone else had this issue and, if so, were you able to resolve it? The charge on my card was described as "Org.diach.and Anapt.po". Does this seem correct for those have purchased Acropolis tickets recently?
Did you check your Spam folder?
I also attempted to purchase two tickets today for entry to the Acropolis from hhticket.gr. I was charged and received an email with an order ID, the date I ordered and the amount in euros. When I ordered the website went to a page that I could print that has the Visit date, the Reservation Code (which is the same as the order ID in the email) and 2 'ticket #/codes'. There is no QR code or anything to scan and the time slot I chose is not shown. I'm hopeful that we'll be able to go to the entrance (skipping the ticket line) and after standing in line, that they'll accept either the Reservation Code or the 2 'ticket #s (which are alphanumeric).
I'd appreciate any feedback from travelers who have purchased tickets this way and your experience. I know a lot changed on April 1, 2025.
I purchased my tickets last week and received an email with the e-tickets as attachments. They came in pdf format. The email I got them from (after purchasing on the official site) was: [email protected]. Maybe you can email to ask about your tickets.
lori did you check your spam folder for the 2nd email? please let us know...
I have been checking my Spam folder for a couple of days, and nothing showed up there. I have reached out both by submitting a support ticket through the website and emailing the ticket email address suggested previously. Haven't heard anything yet, but I will update here.
I ordered tickets yesterday from https://hhticket.gr and got a confirmation charge card text from ODAP E-SHOP and an email with pdf’s attached that had my tickets with QR codes to scan listing the date and time I selected. I noticed on the form to buy the tickets it said optional next to email. Did you maybe bypass the optional email field?
The same happened to me as sandersloriw described above.
My CC was charged, but I didn't receive any email with tickets attached even though I made to type the same email in the optional field as well. Luckily I didn't close the screen after purchase, so I was able to print out the info on the screen. Hopefully employees at the entrance can look up by our ticket numbers or reservation code. But no QR codes, nada :-(. It's a bummer that our 8-9 am slot is not displayed there, only "Visit: 15/05/2025"
I emailed, but I'm not expecting much. I bet hundreds of other people are experiencing the same thing. It's definitely some kind of hiccup on their IT system.
ETA: I must add that my case is a bit different though because my purchase consists of 1 Adult ticket plus another FREE ticket (under 25 EU). I googled and the AI found this on the official tickets site:
"3.14 In cases where the proof of the right to a reduced admission fee or free admission is not sufficient by presenting the identification data but further supporting documents are required, users receive by e-mail a proof of purchase with the purchase details of the ticket, which includes a code corresponding to their transaction. In order to receive their tickets, they must present the above proof of purchase in paper or electronic form at the ticket offices of the site on the day of their visit, showing their original identification and the required supporting documents."
Is there a ticket office at the Southeast entrance or do I need to go to the main entrance now? Since timed tickets are purchased online, will there still be lines of tourists at the ticket booths? What time should I show up to resolve all this stuff and enter the site before we get timed out? I thought that the entrance guards would be checking the ID proof for the free ticket, but the above paragraph alludes it should be done at the ticket office.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
