German Rail Pass - how to register kids name on the pass if buy online

We are planning to buy a German Rail Pass (Flexi Twin Adults) for July's trip. Notice from DB Bahn's web page that per pass up to 4 children (6 up to including 11 years of age) can travel for free on CHILD passes.

Also, it states that "Please register your 6 to 14 year old children travelling with you on your ticket or name them when you book your ticket online."

Would like to know how I can register my sons age at 6 & 8 on my tickets or name them when I book my ticket online. Thanks.

From the other thread it sounds like buying at a major station with a Reisezentrum is the best guarantee of getting all of the t's crossed (and the i's dotted).

Yes, either buying in train stations or buying through Rick Steves & Rail Europe for home delivery before you go are the two best ways to get the German Rail Pass reliably processed.
