Yet another article on overtourism.....

It seems like overtourism is a regular topic in the media these days, and this article provides some interesting suggestions - https://www.ctvnews.ca/lifestyle/4-ways-to-be-a-good-traveller-in-the-age-of-overtourism-1.4443972 .

Even remote Mt. Everest has been "overtouristed" this year and the delays caused by the "conga line" to the summit was a contributing factor to the deaths of several climbers.

Even sheep walk on when enough other were eating all the grass ... human tourists do not show this "intelligence".

The gist of this article as with all of the other ones about "overtourism" is that tourists lack MANNERS. To be told to say hello and thank you? Were these people not raised properly to be courteous of others? Answer: Apparently so.

Another reason to travel when there are no mobs. No reason for other travelers to be subjected by these tourist louts either.

@Continental: fully agree but please allow only the exception that Danish people do not say "please" - they really have no word for it in their language (source).

It also shows the value of traveling off-season. I often travel in March and while the gardens aren't green and the weather can be chilly, the tourists are not as many. I went to Europe one time in the summer and never again.
