Yahoo Voice versus Skype

Skype is more popular, though I haven't personally tried Yahoo's version, a lot of users report better sound quality with Skype.

Cheaper? Skype is 2.1 cents a minute! You can spend $5000 on a trip but save a 10 cents on a 10 minute call (assuming Yahoo is a penny)?

John, A penny saved is a penny earned. If I had your attitude, I wouldn't be able to afford to go to Europe in the first place. And by the way, our trip is costing a heck of a lot more than $5000. The question was, "Can anyone give INFO on Yahoo Voice versus Skype?" Bottom line is, which one is best as far as connection, tech service, etc.

I have Skype and though I am just starting to use it, I love it. Easy to use and since I'm not big with computers, I was still able to set up and use it.
Your question was asking about the difference between the two, but you opened up the comment about the cost at the end of your question. That was the reason for John's response. I too, also doubt that on a trip to Europe that there would be $2 worth of difference between the services.

Skype gets all the positives on this site.

Skype IMHO is the way to go. The computer to computer version last time I check was free.

My father used it to call the family from China, the UK, Spain, and France. Wonderful quality. It was like he was in the same room as us.
