wrinkle free clothing????

I'm looking for any suggestions on men's casual shirts and pants that are light, handwashable, dry fairly quickly and that don't wrinkle...much? By all means, please suggest brand names, and styles to choose. I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb, and I would like to blend in with the "average guy" in France (not stand out!) Thanks

Gary, Have a look at travel-friendly Tilley clothing. I use it extensively during travel (and also at home), and would certainly recommend it.

You'll still look like an American, but Columbia and Ex Officio both make great men's mostly-non-wrinkle clothes. My husband used them exclusively and they washed like a dream. I thought he looked good, but then I'm his biggest fan. :-0 Ex Officio underwear is great, too!

I confess I'm not much of a fan of 100% synthetic clothes, I just don't find them comfortable, but that's just me...many people recommend them and they seem to be wrinkle free for the most part... I take 60/40 cotton/poly or poly/cotton blend shirts( t shirts, polos, and button down collared )and find they work great. Wash them in a sink, roll in towel to soak up most moisture, hang to dry on hanger( 30 seconds of "fussing" to ensure they are hanging without major creases anywhere....Hey, I'm doing laundry in a hotel room so gotta do what ya gotta do...lol...), and they are good to go next morning, no wrinkles. I also make sure that I take darker colours, as they hide stains and stuff better. While there are lots of brands that have 60/40 blends( shop around), for t shirts( long and short sleeved) I can highly recommend LL Bean's Pathfinder T Shirts with Coolmax..I have a bunch and they are excellent..lightweight, wash easily, dry quickly, and no wrinkles ( see above laundry tip...lol )...those and a lightweight v neck cashmere sweater( Land's End) are a travel staple for me...yep, I'm absolutely sure I look North American( I'm Canadian not American...lol ) but I couldn't care less...

I bought a pair of Izod golf pants at Macy's. They're great for travel and can be worn as casual or dress slacks. They are $60 but will be on sale for half that before too long. One time I literally changed in a car, wadded them up and threw them in the back. The next morning they were perfectly wrinkle free - my kind of travel pant! Unfortunately they only come in two colors, sand and black. I also have Docker's pants. The latest is a D3 microfiber pant. I picked those up at Costco recently. They are always available online, for some reason most stores only carry the 100% cotton Docker's. For shirts, go to Dick's sporting goods. I like Underarmour or Northface non-cotton t-shirts, Adidas non-cotton polo shirts, as well as Columbia, Northface and Marmot button up shirts. You can peruse the golf shirts, there are always a selection of tech fabrics. Washable silk button up shirts by Tommy Bahama are nice (I saw some in Nordstroms Rack recently for $40), if you pick a solid color rather than a Hawaiian print, they're pretty versatile. I usually add Underarmour boxerjock underwear (6 or 9 inch inseam won't ride up) and GoldToe non-cotton crew socks and shop for shoes by picking them up (really) and only considering those that are lightweight.
