I will be going to Europe in April. Love mountains and would really like to experience the beauty of the Alps. I am afraid that in April many hotels and attractions will be closed. Any suggestions? not skiing

Choose your hotel and write or call for a reservation. I doubt they will refuse you even in off season.

Once in Samantha Brown's shows, (I like Rick Steves way better!) she said if you go to the Alps off season, the hotels are half price! You should look into this to see if that's really true!
