I love the World Cup and will be in Paris 6/12-6/16... Just don't know about using precious Paris time to go watch a game. 6/12 = England vs USA

Has any one had the jumbotron experience?

Thanks so much for this info Michael!! We were in Sorrento and Paris for the WC in 2006 and it was so much fun. Sorrento was the best, but all over Paris lots of cafes had big screen tv's you could watch even from the sidewalk and the atmosphere was so exciting. Like Super Bowl Sunday here everyday.

We'll be in Paris this June for a month and I can't wait to go to this Fan Fest at the Trocadero. Big time Thank You Michael!!

You're welcome Susan. As you already know you can literally walk down any street in any city in Europe (and most everywhere else) during the tournament, and watch the matches via TVs in storefront windows and not miss a thing:)

If USA can just win against England, my World Cup will be made.

If you want to immerse yourself in local culture and party with the locals, then you can't do any better than watching the game with them. If you can do it at an open market place, or a large cafe, you will have the time of your life. You will come home raving about the fabulous time you had in (fill in the blank) watching the World Cup.

Wear a flag, a t-shirt, or whatever on the day your team is playing. Make-up is even sold to put your flags colors on your face.

Have a great time, I know we will be in our neighborhood market square cheering on the US.
