I've never taken my net topwith me but would like to this time. How do I connect to the internet? Are there places with free wifi? Sorry for the dumb question.

Even B&Bs have free Wi-Fi these days, so your chances of being off the grid are pretty slim. Aside from your lodging, Google Free Wi-Fi Netherlands and Free Wi-Fi Norway. One of the top results returned will be wikis with listings of various free Wi-Fi spots all across each country.
