Check with your homeowner's insurance and see what it would cost to include travel insurance in your yearly premium. For us it turned out to be the best deal out there. And as a bonus we're covered the entire year and don't have to worry every time we take a trip.
I use www.insuremytrip.com to compare various travel insurance options. I usually end up with one of the versions of TravelGuard. The price is partly based on your age, so your price could vary from what anyone tells you about theirs.
