I am trying to decide between the Tryp Guadalmar or Melia Costa Del Sol in Malaga. Has anyone stayed at either on them and if so what do you think. I (female) will be traveling with my 17 year old son. We will not have a car so will use public transportation to get around. Is there things to do/see within walking distance from both of them? I appreciate any info you can offer. Thank you

Have you asked the hotels that question? Try booking.com- if those hotels show up on their listings you can check where they are and also look at the ratings.
Or try Tripadvisor. Malaga has a beautiful old section and it's also a good hub public transport around the area.

Have I not come across this before in similar form and answered recently? You have now qualified your address of one hotel from Costa del Sol to Melia Costa del Sol, which is not in Malaga if that is what you want, but Torremolinos. Malaga has an abundance of 'things to do/see' but the Tryp is three to four miles from the centre and not where I would be staying. Why do you not look for reviews of these premises as advised?
