Hello there!
We are flying into Brussels, and after hitting Amsterdam, we'll be taking a train in Germany to the first close city we can rent a car in. After that, we'll be driving south tentatively through Frankfurt, Munich, Garmisch, up to Salzburg, through Linz to Prague, and then back to Berlin to return the car. Our days are loosely set, and we'd like to camp some nights along the way in between budget hotels. Can you recommend some campsites we could drive to around these cities (or an hour outside)?
Also, what essentials do you recommend for camp sites in Europe? Do we need to book a camp site in advance?
It's two of us, small rental car, and two large backpacks :)
