We plan to visit Faro for 2 days, and Lisbon for 2 days before departing to Madrid for our flight home. We have 2 extra nights that could be used in between. Any suggestions on where to go and where to stay? Do not want to go as far as Porto but would Obidos if that is highly recommended. Thank you

Why Faro? It's a working city and where the airport is located, not a usual tourist spot. You may prefer Tavira, which is more attractive.
Porto isn't practical in your timescale. If you haven't been to Lisbon before, I would add your extra nights there, as allowing for travel time to get there from the Algarve, you are significantly short changing it. You could do a day trip from Lisbon to Cascais or Sintra.
If you have been to Lisbon before, spend your extra nights in Evora.

Thank you. We can switch to Tavira. We are coming from Sevilla on June 16 or June 17, and depart from Lisbon on 6/23. So we have the days, just trying to pick the palces to visit. One day at the beach is nice but want to see the sites.
