Where to go for 3 days before cruise?

Hello!

I am going on a Scandinavia and Baltic Sea cruise that starts in Copenhagen in July. Before that trip, we are planning on spending around 3 days in another city in Europe. I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions! Some ideas that we've floated include Edinburgh, Munich, or Lucerne. The issue that we're having is that we don't really want to go to a country that we're likely to go back to at some point to spend a longer period of time, like Switzerland, so we would like to use these 3 days to explore a city/country that might be less convenient to travel to for a longer period of time.

We've traveled pretty thoroughly through Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Croatia. As for cities that we have explore, we've done London, Paris, Prague, and Amsterdam.

On this trip, we will be briefly exploring cities in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank you.

I also suggest sticking with Copenhagen, plenty to do and it keeps in theme with your cruise and minimizes potential travel drama on the way to your cruise. I always recommend a Bike Mike tour for a great view of the city. You could do a day trip to Roskilde to see the Viking Museum and the cathedral, also a worthy excursion.

Thank you all for your responses! I already have three days in Copenhagen planned pre-trip and was looking to add an additional three days somewhere else while I'm abroad, but I'll definitely consider just taking it leisurely while in Denmark!
