Dear Nigel, thank you for your note, I am so sorry you've been having health and other issues (and I believe your wife was already having health issues), so the two of you must be exhausted. I hope you are doing okay, the both of you. While we adore reading your posts here, please get the rest you need -- don't overtax yourself!

Hoping that you've turned the curve and are on your way back to better health and a more peaceful start to 2017.

Three or four trips a week to hospital, some tests, then sit around for 2 to 4 hours, speak to someone and go home. Deep joy.

So happy to hear from you. I was getting worried about you. You have so much wisdom about the country I love. Hope 2017 treats you and your family better (as with everyone else on this forum). You are in my prayers....

I'm sorry to hear that your meaning was ironic and not literal. I've also had some recent experience with hospitals, so can very much appreciate the situation you're dealing with. I most certainly hope things improve for you in the very near future!
