Where's Nigel

Just a quick note to say that I am back, after a fashion.

After some quite unpleasant health issues, some continuing, and other issues.

I'll chip in where I can, and if I'm needed, but may bob in and out.

Thanks to all those keeping an eye out for me.

Nigel

Dear Nigel, thank you for your note, I am so sorry you've been having health and other issues (and I believe your wife was already having health issues), so the two of you must be exhausted. I hope you are doing okay, the both of you. While we adore reading your posts here, please get the rest you need -- don't overtax yourself!

Hoping that you've turned the curve and are on your way back to better health and a more peaceful start to 2017.

all I can do is echo Priscilla -- I too was going to say Oh no, Nigel.

I hope that they won't have to keep either of you, and that you can rest at home this weekend.

Thinking of you.

Nigel,

I'm really pleased and relieved to hear that the health problems are improving (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "deep joy"). It's fantastic to have you back!!!

Best Wishes to both of you for a happy and healthy 2017, with many more happy travels!

No, Ken, I'm afraid it was irony.

Three or four trips a week to hospital, some tests, then sit around for 2 to 4 hours, speak to someone and go home. Deep joy.

Nigel,

I'm sorry to hear that your meaning was ironic and not literal. I've also had some recent experience with hospitals, so can very much appreciate the situation you're dealing with. I most certainly hope things improve for you in the very near future!

Happy belated New Year!
