Where's Kent?

Has anybody else noticed Kent's absence? I hope he's OK! Maybe he's off finally checking out the Lauterbrunnen Valley? Just wondered.....

KENT sent a message a few days ago saying he would be away from the board for a while. He certainly deserves a rest!

I thought this was someone looking for Kent, England!

Jill,

Not to worry. He's taking a much deserved rest and a short holiday, and will return in about a week.

I hope he has a wonderful time!

Cheers!

Good, I was starting to worry. He is a good "go to" guy.

Rumor has it that he is wandering around Europe testing some of those "leather shorts". So far he has avoided all cameras.

Did you mean Lederhosen? If someone deserves a break it is Kent. Have fun wherever you are Lederhosen or not. Karin

I can assure you, he's not testing Lederhosen!

He'll be back this weekend, and I'm sure he'll provide an interesting trip report.

Cheers!

Kent (at Oregon) was busy working during the past two weeks, and preparing for travelling, and now he is travelling, until July 19. He said he will not touch a computer until he returns from his trip.

What? People do that?

(kidding, I rarely log on while I'm away, and when I do it's basically to let people know I'm still alive and maybe send a cool photo)

Thanks Miss B., they look pretty awesome. Do you know which expedition he took? Maybe he'll give us a short report when he gets back.

Well, it's nice to be missed. And I appreciate the interest of those, above in this thread, who inquired of my whereabouts. I was on a trip and returned yesterday.

Thank you to those of you who bumped the "pseudo-stickies" in my absence:SharonToniDoug (Portland)JoCharlie (Honolulu)I continue to see indications that the stickies are helping those, with less Europe travel experience, who log on with questions.

Maybe someday the ETBD folks will convert the pseudo-stickies to real stickies (that's what they've said they hope to do when the programmer has time).
