Where's the Denver area meeting?

This is supposed to be in the form of a question, right? Or is that Jeopardy? Anyway the question is, what's happening at Penera Bread in Aspen Grove at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 21?

That's harsh Frank. New people aren't welcome? :-) That's okay. Any new people who want to come to a meeting can come to the one in Sacramento. We won't even charge them to attend.

Finally should be a good weekend. Maybe we can sit on the patio.

Lisa can't make it but I'll try. Sacramento seems nebulous. PANERA, which I know how to spell, taste, and even find on a map, sounds inviting, weather permitting. Jeopardy question: when is the right time to plant tomatoes in Denver?

Lee, I will be glad to pick you up in my Bentley on Saturday. They said I could have it for 24 hr and sign the final papers on Monday.

All this of course assumes that the world is still here at 10:00 AM MDT. Does anyone know when (at what time) the world will end on Saturday? And in what time zone? Maybe it be the same time in each time zone, so we'll know when there is no communication coming out of Japan, then the Middle East, then Europe. BTW, it will never be May 21 everywhere in the world at the same instant.

I believe the exact world ending time is 6PM EST. So you guys should be okay for the meeting.

6 PM EST will be 11 PM "coordinated universal time", and midnight standard time in continental Europe (EST), in Asia it will already be May 22. I'm reminded that when days on the (Julian) calendar were omitted (in the 1700s?) to bring the calendar back in alignment with celestial events (Gregorian), people rioted because they thought they were destined to die on a particular date, which would be two weeks earlier with the new calendar.

Lets sit outside. Should be nice. They took the Bentley back because they wanted cash by 6 PM. I will be on the Vespa.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass after all. The rain caused some damage that I'm still repairing. Until next time!

Hey, it's after 5:25 MDT in Denver, 7:25 EDT or 6:25 EST in New York. Any of you guys still there?

Checking in from California...10 fingers and 10 toes... So...where was the meeting ;-) Frank - so sorry about the Bentley; I'm afraid the 4-story German beer stein in our front yard will have to go back to the store, too... :-( It looked so cool with all of the flamingos standing around it...
