What to add for my multi country trip advise needed

22 nights
I hope I am not spreading myself to thin.
A. Paris 7 nights

Plane flight to Vienna Austria 2 hr flight

B. Vienna 5 or 6 nights

Train to Prague 4 hr trip

C. Prague 5 nights

Leaves extra nights to add on originally I figured rent a car and visit a couple different sites in Czech Republic
But I’ve read driving in Czech is not the best. I rented a car in France last year and enjoyed that very much added a different dimension to the trip.

So I thought we could add places in Austria or France. Or Czech Republic

Any input would be great. I want to keep my stops long but think Prague and Vienna might be 5 or 6 nights enough?
Otherwise I would pretty much split time equally between the three cities with a few day trips?

Thanks

The Vienna-Prague trains stop in Brno, a pleasantly untouristy city with a very nice historic center. It's definitely a worthwhile destination. However, it's a city of some size, and I think with the bulk of your time to be spent in major capitals, variety in the form of smaller places--ideally not super-touristy smaller places--would be advisable.

I found Olomouc and Hradec Kralove to be nice changes of pace, but Czechia has a lot of picturesque smaller towns, and the best advice would come from someone who has seen more than two of them.

Hi Greg. You don't say where you read that driving in Czech Rep is 'not the best', but on our trip there a few years ago we drove extensively and the driving was fine. It was a great way to see smaller towns and countryside. Enjoy your trip!
