What is travel like on Amalfi Coast or Greece the last week of November?

We will be in Europe in late November on business and want to add a few days of "vacation"in a not so rainy or cold location. What about Italy, Amalfi Coast, Greece? Any suggestions?

I recommend Italy, not Greece, in November. Any place in Italy could have rain in November, but the Amalfi coast and the Cinque Terre (north of Pisa) are probably not cold in November. If you want my suggestions for transportation to the Cinque Terre (Montorosso), send a Private Message to me at this website.

Years ago we were in Amalfi in November. As I remember, it was cool and cloudy. Not cold, but chilly. Many of the hotels were shut down. Of course that didn't stop us from enjoying the coast so much that we chose to return. I wouldn't hesitate to plan a November trip to the Amalfi Coast, but I wouldn't go expecting warm weather.
