western europe book

does anyone know why rick has no book for "western europe"?.. but yet there is a eastern europe. Unless i want to spend a fortune on 8 different book just, each one on a seperate country/region, ill have to by maybe a lonely planet book on w.e. which i dont really prefere since they cover many of the smaller towns, which im just going to more major cities.

I generally buy a Lonely Planet book to supplement Rick's guides. He does have a "Best of Europe" book. His Eastern Europe book covers only a very small slice of that area (he just added a Croatia book, which used to be in the Eastern book). I also use the library as a reference as I plan, then buy the books I think I must have. In big cities, I've started using DK (or others) Top Ten sights, for details on "must sees" if I don't take Rick's book that includes that city.
