Webmaster - can somebody fix the wayward clock please

I've been using the all topics view so maybe everything is copasetic in the specific forums, I dunno.

But ever since the latest Big Change (with the More Changes in the Wind) I have been confused by the seemingly random time display of the latest post. Sometimes it is my time, sometimes 3 hours prior (somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic?), sometimes 5 hours earlier (EDT?), sometimes 1 hour earlier. Never seems to be later.

Anyway, it is confusing to me. When I renew a page I usually remember the time of the last post, hit F5 and scroll back down to that time. When its all over the shop my cool goes.

Please?

Thanks.... calm, calm

I've had the same problem Nigel. Since there are way too many topics to click on everything now, I am almost exclusively using All Topics. It's aggravating.

When I posted my above reply about 10 minutes ago the times shown were Pacific time. Now they are Eastern time. What?

and when I look at your post, Andrea, the post shows my local time, and the list of threads shows CDT. It seems like a lottery.... just watch the balls spin...

Now posts are showing Pacific time again. I don't get it.

I just changed over to General Europe and it's showing Pacific time. For me anyway!

Andrea, I am seeing German time. It pretty much always does. Is there a setting on our profiles for this?

I don't think there is a setting Jo, but it would be a good idea. I don't understand why mine keeps changing.

I also noticed this last week and sent an email to Webmaster but never got a reply (know they're busy so didn't expect one). It seems to be in "All Topics" that there is inconsistency then whey you go into a post it corrects itself. Weird (and annoying), hope they get it fixed.

Thanks for reporting this bug regression. A fix has been deployed that should display the times properly again in "All Topics." Be sure to let the webmaster know if you see it pop up again.

Thank you very much, Nikky.

It seems to have regained its equilibrium.

Many thanks...
